We are excited to announce that Axelar Network has shifted away from the prior multisig model.
Axelar Network now uses the same trust assumptions as message passing for protocol governance changes. Changes to all protocol parameters, including Gateway contract upgrades, now require a quorum of validators to take effect.
Details of the new Axelar Gateway Governance can be found here:
Axelar is the only “open stack” on the market. All of its components can be upgraded and improved by the community.
