A proposal to upgrade the Axelar Mainnet Network on Thursday, Feb 20 is now live. This proposal will cause an upgrade starting at approximately 3:30pm UTC. If approved, this proposal will upgrade the network so that AXL transaction fees are sent to a burn address, instead of distributing them to token holders. See the v1.2.1 changelog for more details on the release. The upgrade is expected to last for approximately 2 hours. The Axelar Network, Satellite, token transfers and General Message Passing will be unavailable during this time.
